I started [daily dose of imagery] on July 4th, 2003. I posted a photo each day since then. When I launched ddoi, there was no Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, iPhone, iPad, Android, 500px or Instagram.
I decided a year ago that I’ll stop the project after ten years, and today is the 10th year anniversary.
[daily dose of imagery] will remain as is and the whole archive of it will be available as long as I can afford to keep it. The photos will still be available for purchase I’ve also uploaded the whole 10 years archive into a new flickr account which is a great way to browse with large thumbnails. I will continue posting images on the topleftpixel tumblr site from now on, although not a daily basis. It provides larger photos than ddoi allowed which was one of the things I always wanted to change. Bookmark it here: http://tumblr.topleftpixel.com/
On this site, topleftpixel blog, I will be posting articles including tips and tricks for photography, video and post production. Also there will be posts with tutorials and reviews about tools, gadgets and software related to photography, cinematography, video, post production and animation. And here is where I’ll be posting updates about upcoming ddoi related projects (A book or an exhibition might happen this year). Bookmark it here: http://blog.topleftpixel.com/
